The school serves a diverse population, with many exemplary programs that include a hands-on Science Discovery Room, classroom computers networked to the library media center for research, and a unique Early School Preparedness Program (ESP) designed by the teachers. Community involvement with Lamplighters and Early Bird Readers is an important part of the school. As part of Service Learning, Riverview Elementary School Buddies play an integral role in building positive self-awareness in students to have a shared responsibility in learning. A flexible ever-changing curriculum encourages all students to reach their fullest potential.
